"Jason was engaged to design a contemporary and timeless home that sits high up on the east side of Camelback Mountain. After meeting with Jason, he suggested that we raise the ceilings throughout the home and also provide a cantilevered patio without columns blocking the incredible views. We also decided to increase the patio deck off the living space which makes for seamless indoor / outdoor living. The plan was also to modernize the materials by adding metal accents while still maintaining the warmth and history that we wanted with the original masonry exterior walls. The design takes full advantage of the spectacular views of Old Town Scottsdale and the mountains beyond. Our home works very well for us and has a resort-Like feel with the incredible views from the indoor and outdoor spaces.
